X-Files preview - E3 '98 - Preview REVIEWER/ Sneak Peek: X-Files in Atlanta By: Cynthia A. Sorrels In March, Fox sponsored an X-Files expo in Dallas, which will be repeated in Atlanta during E3. Since I wandered out to take a look, here's some of what Atlanta attendees can expect: Long lines to get in, the price tag for entrance was $25.00 - and don't bother bringing your camera, camcorder or tape recorder - they're checking bags at the door. So how did I get all these shots INSIDE? Heh...muttered "they told me it's okay since I'm press." :-) More lines inside! This is the autograph line - one of the producers was there and after his presentation, stayed to sign a LOT of autographs. Some of the props from the show were on display, including guns, clothing, and miscellaneous items. So what about the GAME?? Well, I was hoping to see a demo of the upcoming game... what was at the convention was a section of computer terminals, all running the same .avi movie file of the game. Totally non-interactive. Here are the shots I managed to get of that - looks like an interactive movie/game combo. Preview version Alpha
